Congratulations from the committee of the AFL Sydney Umpire Group to the umpires who have been appointed to the all important NEAFL and AFL Sydney Grand Finals this weekend. Thank you also to all those who attended the 2011 President’s Night function held last night at the Mercure Sydney. Grand Final and Drinks
For those not running, show your support for your colleagues (and have some fun) by coming along to the events at Blacktown Olympic Park – it’s always good to have someone barrack for the guys in orange – then join us in the courtyard of the Hotel Clarendon, Devonshire Street, Surry Hills from 6.00 pm to celebrate the end of the season with your umpiring colleagues.

There is no cost for this event with a FREE drink for every umpire, and the Clarendon does great food for hungry athletes.
Under 18s are welcome in the courtyard so long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult.
Presentation Night
Once the season has well and truly wound up, join us for our ‘night of nights’ to look back on the events of 2011 and celebrate the achievements of the group.

Location: Chatswood Golf Club, Beaconsfield Road, Chatswood
Cost: $90.00 for a three course meal and drinks package
Dress: Lounge Suit
Partners and friends are most welcome.
A bus will be available to ferry attendees to Chatswood Station or the city after the event.
